The MYZONE physical activity monitoring system measures your performance in real time during class and tracks your workouts to measure progress. Every month we have a fun “Challenge” to help keep us all working to be our best.
The idea behind Kensho’s Mixed Martial Arts curriculum is to be ready for any situation and able to flow easily from kicking range to punching range to trapping/knee/elbow range into grappling range; with a weapon or without. This is similar to Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do (JKD) concepts.
Kensho's Mixed Martial Arts Concepts begin with Boxing and Kickboxing in order to develop our movement and physical conditioning for strength, flexibility, speed and timing. We then build on our basics adding Muay Thai, JKD and Savate along with weapon techniques from Kali and Filipino martial arts. As we progress, techniques begin to flow together seamlessly.
Over the years we've developed an awesome curriculum and training methods to help you learn to train safely with high intensity. You'll find yourself high fiving all your training partners after class and heading out the door already anxious to come back for your next class!
Training in our Boxing, Kickboxing, Savate, Muay Thai, Kali/Eskrima and Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do curriculums independently, we preserve the culture and origins of each art and are able to absorb the essence of each. Students can earn ranks through instructor level in each of our root arts as they progress.
